JOY AWAITS THOSE WHO PUSH THROUGH TEARS


It's not fair what you did to us. 
You tossed our life aside 
like it never even mattered. 
You broke my heart; 
shattered the dream. 
But, I stood up when 
the world pulled me down. 
I went on when I wanted to quit. 
Freedom lies on the other side of fear. 
Joy awaits those who push through the tears.
