New book coming soon- Let there be grief on 14th August, 2026
Life did reveal something profound eventually- It is all in the kiss. Either you get drawn or
repulsed, there is nothing in between. Intimacy leaves residues though and you can
clean them off but it’s hard, it does leave an imprint but yes time does wash them away
eventually because you keep shedding skin physically, mentally and spiritually. For me
every time I kissed a woman, and I loved those lips and her smell, I just cannot let go.
And all through my life, it must have happened twice, the first time happened a decade
ago, the second time happened a tad late after a decade. When a kiss like that happens,
the whole world ceases to exist in that moment and it’s just me and her. And because
sex had been a no-no for me before marriage, I would always engross myself in the
beauty of make-out and foreplay. But then better the kiss, better the chemistry, severe
the heart break. You can walk away from a bad kiss but lips you crave for, you cannot
just hug it out and move on. The craving just stays with you and if you write it out, it
becomes poetry, and if it stays within, it becomes obsession.
