A THOUSAND DREAMS
A Thousand Dreams
A thousand dreams of yesterday.
Memories of the games we'd play.
I always know where you are hiding now!
Tearing it up or trying to figure out how.
High school came and went way too fast.
Endless summers we all hoped would last.
Old school good times swallowed with ice cold beer.
No one was a stranger back when we all were here.
Laughter usually went on throughout most of the night.
Youth has weight of worlds of life ending in pillow fights.
One endless summer ended a separate way.
Now talks always end with maybe someday.
Every summer ends, except in a thousand dreams of yesterday.
