I MUST WALK WITH A BROKEN HEART



Frozen solid,
From the inside,
Out,
The beat of my heart,
The rhythm in my veins,
Has come to a stand still,
If only words,
Could explain.
Without warning,
Down poured the rain,
Drowning me,
From within,
Flooding over,
And through my skin,
For these are the roads,
Alone,
I must walk,
With a broken heart,
And a mind of torment,
You left me with these feelings,
As though I'm drowning
Inside myself,
I may forgive,
But I won't forget,
I blame myself,
I'll learn from my mistake,
The thing about
Dying slowly,
Is the amount Of time,
You have to think.
