YUVRAJ SINGH- A MAN WHO GAVE IMMORTAL MEMORIES TO INDIAN CRICKET
Yuvraj singh, a name familiar to all Indians who watch cricket. We all remember him as A man who won two world cups for us, a Man who smashed 6 Sixes in an over, a man who was the hero of so many victories. A man who battled cancer and overcame it. A life which gives inspiration to so many, young cricketers idolize him, we all consider him a true hero.
But to such an inspiring life came a big blot, a big big blot; Yuvi who was the hero of masses became a villain overnight when last sunday he failed to live upto the expectations of millions of cricket crazy fans. Fans who wanted to see him taking charge , who wanted him to go ahead and blast the lankan bowlers hitting fours and sixes saw him making just 11 runs of 21 balls. a never expected performance. and then Srilanka defeated India to become the t20 world champions.
Yuvraj singh became the scapegoat , he was blamed for the defeat. People criticized him. He became a subject of jokes on social media and numerous memes being made on him. A hero became a villain with just a single bad performance and all those good days, all those memories he gave us were forgotten. People even went to the extreme of pelting stones at his house. ya agreed he gave hi weakest performance that day, but he doesn't deserves such harsh treatment. He was a reason for our defeat but he was not the only reason. There were other reasons too. the biggest reason was Srilanka played much better than us.
Big players do fail at times, and that day Yuvraj failed to deliver. Its ok. We should take it in a sporty way.To give a 100% performance every time is not possible. All days are never equal. Some days we shine, some days we remain dull isn't!!!!
and As the great Sachin tendulkar rightly said" we have the right to criticize him but we have no right to crucify him".
Treating a match winner like this, not done guys...seriously disappointed with the crazy Indian crowd. Your memory is really short lived.
