BHOPAL GAS TRAGEDY- IT WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT BUT A MASSIVE SCALE MURDER THAT WAS NOT PLANNED......
Enough has been written on this unfortunate day and writing
another blogpost on it would not make any difference in the lives of all those
unfortunate soul who became victim to this Massacre. But then being a blogger
from Bhopal, its my moral responsibility to write about it. This whole incident
made Bhopal an immortal city in world
history. Search Bhopal on Google and you will know. All who went to sleep peacefully that night
would not have expected that just within a Few hours, Bhopal will turn into a
living graveyard where death bodies were constantly multiplying exponentially.
But that’s how Life is, unpredictable, you never know what lies in the next
moment. I was born after 7 years of this
horrendous accident . I never knew about it, until I learned about it in my
textbooks and asked my parents that how were they alive, they said that the gas
didn’t reach the place where they were living. They were living far away from
the place of incident but they narrated me some scenes of horror that followed
for days after that fateful night. Streets were full of dead bodies of Men,
women, Children and animals, all lying alongside each other. That Night people
breath methyl isocyanate(MIC) not oxygen because they had no choice. They were
forced to breathe death. Imagine
one night while sleeping, you wake up coughing and you are suffering from heavy
pain, you try to run but as you get out all around you see chaos and screams of
people. You don’t know what is happening, people are dying around you and with
every breath you take, the pain in you increases, the coughing gets heavy and
you know that your death is near and slowly death engulfs you. All your hopes
of a better tomorrow, all your dreams of a better future die with you. You
didn’t die because of your own mistakes but you payed a price for the blunder
done by the government and corrupt bureaucracy who allowed such a poisonous
plant to be set up in midst of a residential area. To all those bastards who
were involved in this massive killing, you won’t be spared. As you kill, you
will be killed. What you sow, you reap it one day because Bhopal gas tragedy
was not an accident, it was a massive scale Murder which was not planned.
People who died that day , or after a few days of that
miserable night were lucky ones because there pain was temporary, just for a few moments, few minutes, few hours, may be
some days but people who are still
alive, who are living with the pain , who are living with the wounds and
bruises inflicted on them during that disastrous night, are the unlucky ones, i
pray that may God give them strength and courage to live because the past
cannot be corrected. They can only hope
for a better future. May their hopes come true and I can only hope such
accidents never happen again….God bless us all…Amen…
nicely written issac !
