VIRAT KOHLI AND ANUSHKA SHARMA- THEIR LOVE STORY..THEIR CHOICE

Image
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma fell in love, it was their choice. Anushka Sharma came to cheer her love during the semi final match of ICC Cricket world cup,  was her choice. Virat kohli played 13 balls and got out after scoring a single, was neither his choice nor Anushka’s. People blamed them, the so called supporters blamed them, it was their choice. Anushka was called a bad omen by the so called fans, for it was their choice. They were trolled on social media, for it was the choice of the people. They came from sydney together holding each other’s arms, it was their choice.  At the end Love triumphed over all odds, so what if people criticized them, so what if people made fun of them, so what if people hurled abuses at them, they chose to hold each other in this bad times, they chose to support each other in this hard times, they chose to stand by each other in this testing times, at the end of the day, its love that matters ...

LOL AUSTRALIA WON THE WORLD CUP AGAIN....

Image
Getting back online, and a cursory glance down the TL with the ICC world cup inputs made me glad for not having been able to watch it!  However we weren't spared, several kilometres above the Earth on the flight home, when a helpful First Officer in the cockpit announced that he was happy to share the results of the final!  He said: I'm happy to tell you that the final is over and New Zealand have won by 7 wickets....  To which a spontaneous cheer and appl ause errupted in the aircraft.... And after a moment he said: Uh. Errr... I'm sorry AUSTRALIA have won by 7 wickets. A spontaneous booing followed along with groans of disappointment. He probably hadn't have been cursed as much as he was then! lol....its the most hateful end to an otherwise wonderful world cup, to see Australia lift the World cup. I have seen the australians lift the World cup so many times that i just hate it to see them lift it again and again, Like they are 5 times champions. Give me a br...

A PAGE FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S ROMANTIC DIARY- I ASKED HER 20 LAKHS AND SHE LAUGHED AT ME

Image
My life was going through a fucking phase,  I was struggling in life with no plans for future. My mind had become blank  and had stopped working. I was a 23 year who was jobless still thriving on the money of his parents. I was going through the toughest phase of my life, life was no more a joke and bitter realities of life had began to hit me .My post graduation degree had become useless because of my overall low percentile. Everytime I used to walk in for an interview, they would shoo me away for my marks were not upto the mark. Never did I feel so rejected and dejected in my life, I felt like a useless shit who was rotting away giving away bad odour to his near and dear ones. It was in those bad times that I came upon an ad, a reputed university had opened admissions for its two year MBA programme and had asked the interested students to send in their applications. I was quite excited after reading it, for they had 100% placement records. Just two years of MBA and...

THANK YOU TEAM INDIA FOR GIVING US AN MEMORABLE WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE

Image
I know India lost the match and the dream of winning back to back world cups has been shattered. Many Indians like me would be going through the same phase, very difficult to gulp down the fact that we lost the match .But there were moments, I really felt that we could win the match. When umesh yadav took the wicket of David warner in the 4 th over itself, I felt Its India all the way again.  When shami bowled some beautiful deliveries, I felt its India all the way. When Ashwin caught out Maxwell and Umesh yadav removed Aaron finch in quick succession, I felt it was India all the way. When Mohit Sharma removed Clarke, I felt it was India all the way. When we were fielding so well, saving boundaries and diving and stopping every ball that was going past them, I felt it was India all the way. When Rohit Sharma hooked Johnson for a six and Shikhar dhawan was hitting Faulkner for fours and sixes, I felt it was India all the way. When Rohit was still bat...

INDIA VS AUSTRALIA- WHO WILL WIN

Image
Back in 2003, that was the first world cup for me where with my own eyes, I saw India getting into the finals under the great captaincy of Indian legend Sourav ganguly. I was just 12 years at that time and was another cricket crazy boy of a cricket crazy nation. Our neighbourhood was filled with boys who were just like me- Crazy for cricket, crazy to see India win in every match. For all of us, the uncles, the aunties, all my neigbhours, my friends it was a glorious moment, a match that was highly anticipated. For India had reached the finals of an ICC world cup after 20 years. We all wanted Dada and company to repeat  what kapil dev and company did in 1983. We were all hoping for another world cup, another win, another era of glory. Hopes were high and stakes had gone up. I still remember that day, all my relatives were sitting at my house before the match and all were highly excited about it.  There was fear too because the opponent was none other than Australia, t...

THAT FIERY SPELL OF WAHAB RIAZ- BEST MEMORIES OF 2015 WORLD CUP

Image
I was not following the Australia-pakistan quarter final match, as I rarely see cricket matches where India is not playing. For me Cricket is about India and supporting India. I would ask the scores in between or check it on my facebook newsfeed.  After sometime as I checked in facebook, there was this page of ICC cricket world cup which had posted something new and the post said, Wahab Riaz and Shane Watson into some fierce battle. I was quite excited by what was written, but because I was in my college I couldn’t view the battle live. By the time I had reached Home,  it was known to everyone that Pakistan was out of the world cup after a 6 wicket defeat from Australia. I was like ok, this was expected but what I wanted to see was what actually perspired between Wahab and Watson. I opened my facebook account and checked the page of ICC Cricket council. There they had put up a video which said Fiery spell by Wahab riaz. As I clicked the video and within few seconds, ...

SIMPLE THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY...

If you ask me about those simple things that make me happy, then there are certain things that do bring a smile on my face. 1. Sleep makes me happy, When i get to sleep for hours without the fear of being woken up by the pressure of going to college or somewhere or the fear of completing work,When I get extra two hours of sleep when I wake up in the morning. My mind rejoices in abundance. 2. Jogging makes me happy, when I complete my planned sets of rounds of the 400m round track, it makes me happy when I see the whole me profusely sweating. The inner me says, that yes mission has been accomplished. 3. Taking a shower makes me happy, for it makes me clean and when cold water droplets fall on my dull, dirty and tired body, they charge it up with freshness.  A good bath removes dullness from me and makes me a clean man. 4. Good food makes me happy, as I come out of the bathroom and I see good food being served on the dining table, it makes me happy for I get yum...

THE FARMER AND THE CHIEF MINISTER

Image
He was a Farmer hugely burdened by debts of lakhs of rupees, crop failures had broken the financial backbone of the family. Being the sole earning member of the family, he always felt humiliated for  being not able to fulfil even the basic needs of his dear ones. He cried at times, he wept at times but no one saw his tears. There was no one to help him, for his friends were like him, poor farmers, some of whom had commited suicides. He had 4 bhigaas of land, he sowed wheat with lots of hope. After a few months, the harvest was ready and when the grown wheat bloomed in the air, his mind was filled with joy as now all his problems would end. Happiness was about to knock his doors and his soul danced with joy.  After some days, he will gather his hard work and sell it to buy relief from all his problems. But just two days before harvest, the unexpected happened, the sky opened itself and poured out heavy rains.  The rains were accompanied by hail and as they fell o...

INDIA VS BANGLADESH- THOSE BITTER MEMORIES OF 2007

Image
Mashrafe mortaza, the current captain of Bangladesh cricket once accidently met Anil kumble in 2007 before the onset of 2007 world cup. A friendly chat happened between the two of them. Amidst there conversation, Anil kumble expressed his concern to Mashrafe Mortaza saying, “ India is walking on a tight rope because between world cup and India’s tour to Bangladesh, there ain’t any time, because Bangladesh tour was to happen just after the world cup ended. Mashrafe Murtuza took the statement as a huge insult to his country and his countrymen. For him, The statement of Kumble was filled with Arrogance. In an Interview, Mashrafe Mortaza revealed that Kumble’s statement made him feel as if his team is being considered as a punching bag and Indian team could easily reach the finals, as though it were a cakewalk. Mortaza caught the unspoken words in those spoken lines, words that were wrapped  in arrogance. Even though Kumble hadn’t said anything as such but Mortaza decided t...

Once upon a time she was a blessing, she became a curse later and then she became a lesson for life....

I was going through my favorites list on whatsapp simply checking out people and I saw a status in which it was written, “ how does it feel when a person leaves you without giving you a reason, you are left in despair , for you keep asking yourself questions and get no answers”. As i read those beautiful words, i realized that the feelings of being left alone, the feeling of emptiness , of being rejected is so universal. That status felt so personal, so close to my heart because a year ago, I too used to write this same lines in memory of my broken relationship. In memories of someone, who just left without giving a reason. She owed an explanation but she never gave one. I was so mad on myself, so mad on her .But bad days don’t last always, with time I got over that so called bad phase, that so called torture I had inflicted on myself. I broke free of all those bonds of bitter memories and those broken dreams. Of those kisses that never happened, of those hugs that never...

WITH A KISS JUDAS BETRAYED JESUS AND WITH A KISS SHE GAVE ME SWINE FLU……

Image
She had called me to her house and I was quite surprised by that. I really didn't understand what she wanted from me, for now everything was over between us. Love had ceased to exist in our relation, kisses and hugs had become rare and fights had become common. It was a burden to carry on this relation and we had decided to go different ways, for walking together was not possible but pushing aside all this thoughts, I decided to meet her a final time. I reached their on time and rang the bell, she opened the door for me and then our eyes met and we kept staring at each other, she looked sick but was still beautiful and charming as ever.  She gave me a seductive smile and her smile confused me, what had she called me for, may be she wants to have sex for the last time perhaps, I thought. She asked me to come inside and to make myself comfortable. As I went inside, I saw she was wearing a short loose skirt and a yellow top and the whole combo made her a sex d...

MY MOST MEMORABLE DAY WITH MY FAMILY- CHRISTMAS 2014

Image
I had given my final semester exams and my post graduation was unofficially over. It was a long journey for in this two years, I was too busy with assignments, projects and presentations. There was no time for pleasure and recreation. Relatives became strangers and talking with friends became rare. After giving my last exam, I felt so relieved that I slept peacefully without stress after a long time. There was a surprise in store for me as my mother had planned a trip to Kerala for she wanted to meet her mother and all her dear ones. She had planned it long back and she was waiting for all this months for my semester exams to get over. Now that my semester exams were over, we waited for my sister’s Christmas holidays to happen.   We packed our bags on 20 th December and left for Kerala, I was really excited to see my granny, my uncles and aunts, my relatives and all my cute cousins. The whole thought of meeting all of them was so exciting, for last time I had visited...
